Mattress Firm return policy

Mattress Firm offers a 120-night trial on all their mattresses. They do require you to sleep on your mattress for at least 21 days before attempting to exchange or return it—what they call an "adjustment period." After those first 21 nights, if you're not completely satisfied with your new mattress, you may exchange or return it. Exchanges and returns may only occur once per purchase.

If you choose to exchange your mattress, Mattress Firm gives you a credit towards the purchase price of another mattress. The credit is in the amount of your original purchase price (bed your returning) less a 10% restocking fee. You're also subject to a $99.99 return delivery fee.

If you want to return your mattress, you're refunded the original purchase amount less a 20% restocking fee. You're subject to a $99.99 return delivery fee.

Mattress Firm is unable to exchange or refund stained, unsanitary or damaged mattresses under the 120 Night Sleep Trial.

All sales are final and not eligible for exchange or return on the following items:

• Warranty exchanges

• Clearance merchandise

• Floor models

• Pillows

• Mattress protectors

• Adjustable bases,

• All special order sizes (California King, Split California King etc.)

Can I return online purchases to a store?

No. In order to return any items purchased on the Mattress Firm website, you must contact customer service via chat, email, or phone.

How long does a refund take?

If the method of payment used for your purchase was a check, cash, debit or credit card, please allow 7-10 business days for your refund to be processed.

If you financed your purchase, it may take up to 2 billing cycles for your refund to appear on your account.

Is my entire purchase price refunded?

If you opt to return your mattress rather than exchange it for a different model, you're subject to fees. You're responsible for a $99.99 return delivery fee and a 20% restocking fee (won't exceed $500). Your refund is further reduced by any state use taxes that Mattress Firm is required to apply.
